Corr Performance will be out the country from Feb 1 to Feb 6 tuning several vehicles.
We got called up to go tune a Nissan GTIR (RN14) on a Haltech PS1000 system. While there we are taking the chance to tune several other cars around the country.
If any one needs to use the dynos or get tuned please be aware of these dates that we will be out the states.
Thanks,
Alberto

'74 Datsun 260z SR20DET
Race gas tune on this episode of the tune. VP 110 unleaded was used. This time around, the car was fitted with a proper LSD for the rear end. So now the client wanted to maximize the tune and see where is would go on race gas.
Here is the outcome on the video provided.

Seems like from time to time we get to see a diamond in the rough. Underneath the rough exterior, the car gets polished slowly as the proper tuning solution reveals the well built engine ability to make the rollers scream.Would like to thank Daron for bringing us this nice well built car.
Lastly I would also like to thank "dondullabadazz" for referring this client to us.

Another GIAC release

GIAC has released exciting new software for the 2.0TSI chain drive platforms. This new program includes features from our popular Stage 2 calibration ( overboost resistance and a fix for the torque limitation at slow speeds. )
Highlights:
1) A more linear and responsive throttle (feels like drive-by-cable)
2) Removed/remapped the stock low speed torque limiter.
3) Smoothed overboost control, offering more flexible programming when coupled with different aftermarket hardware.
If you currently have GIAC software in your 2.0TSI and you're running a stock downpipe, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this complimentary upgrade. (labor charges for installation may apply at your local GIAC authorized dealer)
Supported ECUs include the following (All Golf/Jetta 2009 models are ready now):
1) 1K0907115AD (Golf/Jetta TSI)
2) 1K0907115AF (Golf/Jetta TSI)
3) 1K0907115AE (Golf/Jetta TSI)
4) 8P0907115Q (A3 TSI)
If you do not find your ECU number in this list, contact your local authorized GIAC dealer for a file conversion.

InlinePro built S2000 turbo

After previous hours of deliberation with this magnificent s2000 from
Alexandria, we finally were able to have this car return for true
testing/tuning. This car was previously tested but without any tuning and
simply trying to figure out its boost control to no avail. This time we
called upon one of our not only good friends, but also a fantastic colleague
in the tuning business. He traveled all the way from Houston to help us out
with this well put together s2000. Sorting out the boost was a delicate
task due to the fact that the customer had put in a 20# spring and we were
worried about boost creep, we decided to keep it at 14# spring and tune from
there.
During this session our customer borrows our truck to go into town as his
vehicle was on the dyno. No problem, we give him the truck and he's on his
way. We then receive a phone call from the customer getting locked out of
our truck. Luckily we had tools to get into the truck. With the help of
Damian's tools and Dibble's expertise in breaking into cars, we managed to
get our truck back. it was the truck or we were keepin the s2000 for
ransom. ;)
Back to the dyno
It took us a few hours to figure out that the boost controller was not
regulating it properly so we decided to just TUNE the car's ignition and
timing maps and at least have the customer walk out with a grin on his
face. After several hours of tuning and taking breaks, not only for the car
but for us to eat and drink, we were able to draw out some manageable
numbers for our customer. Trying to convince him to come down that same night to NOLA for
more tuning on his car he decided to return at a later date. Not often you
have three AEM/EFI101 tuners in one setting! Oh well, he was happy with his
car, I'm glad that Tim G. came down to help us out, and we were all
exhausted after a long day of tuning. Thanks again to Sig40 and Dibble for
bringing refreshments, entertainment, and helping out with the locked
truck. The Crawfish pies and Andouille Balls were off the Chain! Mad props
again to TimG for helping with the tune!

So the weather FINALLY cools down out here in South LA. It was a brilliant day for not only being outside but dynoing. The group that set the dyno day season were the VW/Audis. The day started to look doomed as Berto's truck was initially thought to be stolen but then found out that it was impounded.
Having to figure out how to get Papi's grill to the shop to cook up the famous fajitas, we had to disassemble it and fit it in a Honda civic!! The lengths we go to get a taste of some of Papi's fajitas. Late to the event as the VW crowd was already waiting on us. Thanks to Sig40 for giving us updates on the personnel there and where to have them parked.
Finally set up, we get the cars rolling and more of the VW contingency show up. Overall, it was great to see new faces, different cars that cant be dyno tested ANYWHERE else in the STATE, and also learn more about the European cars. Thanks to all the folks that showed up to the event and we hope that Corr Performance Tuning provided y'all with great entertainment this past weekend! Special thanks to Sig40, Dibble, Luke, and Stephan for refreshments. :)
Here are some photos for now of the event....
